Oakton Community College Cultural Immersion Program

In June and July 2022, the Give Right Foundation partnered with Oakton Community College to design and implement a customized cultural immersion program in Togo, West Africa. During the 11-day experience, a group of educators explored the history, culture, and artistic traditions of the region while engaging with local communities and institutions.

The program provided participants with valuable intercultural learning opportunities and strengthened educational partnerships between institutions in the United States and West Africa. Fifteen Fulbright Scholars participated in this unique experience.
