Promoting Education and Healthcare through international volunteering

The Give Right Foundation is a non-profit focused on providing equitable access to healthcare that is self-sustaining through community health projects, education, technology and international volunteering.

Most of our current diagnostic work focuses on simple prenatal scans that diagnose gestational age, sex, orientation and life-threatening pathologies such as placenta previa. We started with these scans because when we asked the communities what was most important to them, maternal and fetal mortality was top of their list. Providing prenatal scans has the additional benefit of increasing the overall value and visibility of rural clinics, which synergistically increases rural communities use of the basic prenatal care they already provide.
